Wilkes Community College recipient of recruiting grant from US Poultry & Egg Association

Wilkes Community College (WCC), located in Wilkesboro, NC, was recently awarded a $7,000 grant from the US Poultry & Egg Association. The grant was made possible in part by an endowing foundation grant from Case Farms and will help with student recruiting efforts for the Associate in Applied Sciences degree in Applied Animal Science Technology. The grant check was presented by John Starkey, President of US Poultry & Egg Association to Matthew Greene, of Wilkes Community College. Andrew Boyles, a Tyson Foods employee and 1st Vice President of the NC Poultry Federation joined the presentation along with other WCC faculty and students.
